Maidenhead 10

A great good Friday at Maidenhead 10 to three Striders and there was the added bonus today that Teressa May was cheering us on (it’s her local constituency).

It was a warm one but that didn’t stop Chris, Sue and Charlotte Leigh running good times. The course starts with two circuits of the business park before going out around the countryside, through the village and then back into the business park across the countryside. Very flat and a fast course. Charlotte Leigh 2:12:48 PB, Sue Leigh 1:37:11 age graded PB, Chris Leigh 1:22:17 seasons best.

Marathon with a buggy

Davie Stafford did a marathon with his daughter in the buggy on Good Friday and managed to get around the course in 04-41-50.

This week’s dose of Parkruns.

The 5km (3.1 mile) free-event for all took place on Saturday morning and a few Striders were out in force.
