Three Striders took on their last race of 2019 when they travelled to Buntingford for the popular, undulating 10 mile road race. New member Helen Moye posted a time of 86:04 whilst the Cuzner duo of Glenn and Stuart finished in strong times of 69:45 (personal best) and 76:37 respectively.
Phoenix Frozen half marathon
Sue Loughran ran the Phoenix Frozen half marathon along the Thames towpaths at Walton on the Thames and finished in 3 hours 5 minutes 58 seconds.
Cambridge Sublime 10K
Chrissie Thomas and Linda Howell took on the Cambridge Sublime 10K on Sunday and finished in 66:49 and 68:23 respectively.
ParkRun – Christmas Day

Stevenage 10km 2020
Entries for the Stevenage 10K 2020 are open. There are 600 places available for the 6.2-mile race through some of Stevenage’s beautiful parks (up from 450 places in 2019). Early-bird prices are £18 (£16 if running with an affiliated club). All finishers will receive a medal, technical t-shirt and cake! Spot prizes will also be given out. Proceeds from the race will go to the Stevenage Community Trust, Stevenage Haven
and the Essex and Herts Air Ambulance. The target is to raise at least £3000 for those charities.
