In just the last 4 years Stevenage Striders have helped over 1,500 runners start their running journey, get fitter, get faster, improve their mental well-being, run further and achieve their goals. We are the club for “every runner, of every level and every pace”.

Join us
Stevenage Striders is a free to join, totally free to run, ARC affiliated, fully inclusive, fun and friendly running club and the only Stevenage club where members can run free on Ridlins running track. We are also one of the largest running clubs in Hertfordshire and most welcoming. We have an England Athletics Qualified Head Coach who is always on hand to help. Membership to become a Stevenage Strider is, and will always be, FREE and applications are accepted all year round. Click the link below to fill out an application form and sign up.

Training
Stevenage Striders hold a variety of training sessions, varying between speed endurance, hill climbs, long distance runs, track sessions and lots more.
Training is often grouped by ability, to provide the right experience for everyone with our friendly run leaders in charge!

Stevenage Striders are affiliated to two road running organisations:
Our main affiliation is to the Association of Running Clubs (ARC); we are also affiliated to the Herts County Amateur Athletics Association. These affiliations are free to our members when they sign up and include benefits to runners such as discount off races.
