Menzies Stevenage 5k, 10k and Combi - 30th August 2026
What Was New for 2025 (and returning for 2026)
Last year’s Menzies 5K & 10K was bigger, better, and packed with exciting additions that elevated the race-day experience for runners and supporters alike. We’re pleased to confirm that the same event format, courses, and features will return for the next Menzies 5K & 10K in 2026.
🆕 Brand New 5K Race
In 2025, we proudly introduced a standalone, road-free 5K race — ideal for newer runners or those keen to test their speed over a shorter distance. This popular addition will return in 2026.
🛣️ Flatter, Faster 10K Route
Our redesigned 10K course made its debut last year. Flatter, smoother, and entirely road-free, it was built for personal bests while still showcasing the beauty of Stevenage — and it will be back again in 2026.
🔁 Go the Distance with the Combi
The Combi Challenge launched in 2025, giving runners the chance to take on both the 5K and 10K in one event. This option will once again be available in 2026 for those feeling ambitious.
🎪 Race Village at Fairlands Valley Park
We relocated the race village to the stunning Fairlands Valley Park in 2025. With food, stalls, music, and a fantastic atmosphere for supporters and families, this vibrant hub will remain the heart of the event in 2026.
🚗 Free Parking
Free parking was available for all participants and spectators last year and will continue to be offered at the 2026 event — making race day stress-free from start to finish.
👕 Event Shirt
In 2025, all 10K finishers received a specially designed event T-shirt inspired by the energy of race day. A new design will be revealed for 2026.
🏅 Innovative Medal Design
Last year’s finishers received unique 5K and 10K medals that joined together to form a hidden 15K design for those completing both races. This popular medal concept will return in 2026 with a fresh design.
