About us
Stevenage Striders is a friendly, inclusive road running club founded in August 2013 by local runners who wanted to make running fun, social, and accessible to everyone.
We understand that joining a running club can feel intimidating— but at Striders, enjoyment comes first. Some members race, some train for personal goals, and others simply run for fun. Whatever your reason, you're welcome here.
Whether you're just starting out or training for your next race, we welcome runners of all abilities.
We’re proud to be a free-to-run organisation, built on values of support, encouragement, and inclusivity. With around 280 members, we offer a vibrant community and a wide range of training options to suit every runner.
Whether you're looking to improve your fitness, meet new people, or simply enjoy running in a supportive environment, Stevenage Striders is here for you.
