Welcome to the Diamonds League
The Diamond League has been created to increase participation and engagement across all Striders events — whether you’re running or volunteering.
You’ll earn the same number of diamonds for volunteering as you do for running. We want to ensure our incredible volunteers are recognised and rewarded, and to give members who are unable to run for any reason the opportunity to stay involved and keep earning diamonds.
How It Works
The league will run on a trial basis until our Awards Night in November.
The top FIVE Diamond Chasers will receive an award on the night.
We’ll provide regular league table updates so you can track your progress.
What Counts?
All Striders events are automatically recorded — we know who has run or volunteered.
Non-Striders races must be submitted via the weekly race report to be included.
Parkruns count as a 5K.
As a running club, only running events are eligible.
This league is all about participation, community spirit, and having a bit of fun. So sign up for those races, support club events, and let’s start chasing diamonds!
